Pirelli Angel GT II: second version of the Sport Touring tire arrives

Pirelli presents the new Sport Touring tireANGEL GT II, heir to the tire of the same name released a few years ago. The aim of the new version is to improve mileage, sporty handling, wet grip and a greater perception of safety by the motorcyclist.

The new product was developed with a new carcass with variable density, while the high silica content compounds combined with the new tread design, which derives from the intermediate racing solutions developed for the FIM Superbike World Championship, allow reference performance and maximize the effect of electronic driving assistance systems. The new tire aims to consolidate the previous strong points of the first version, such as mileage and versatility, while improving its performance on wet surfaces, driving pleasure and the feeling of safety. Angel GT II was born from the company's need to keep up with the latest innovations presented in recent months by the various manufacturers. In particular, the introduction of electronic systems is increasingly pushing forward the level of performance and therefore safety required of tires. The new Pirelli Angel GT II they promise: exceptional performance even in extremely wet conditions and maximization of the effects of the electronic driving assistance systems. They own super sports cars, naked/roadsters, sport tourers, adventure bikes and new generation crossovers and need tires capable of guaranteeing control and grip during braking in all conditions, even on wet surfaces, and easy handling even at low speeds typical of urban areas.
