SEAT MÓ 125 Performance: a new electric scooter with a sporty character [PHOTO]

Introduced as a world premiere at the last edition of EICMA and protagonist in setting two Guinness World Records™, the new SEAT MÓ 125 Performance enriches the range of SEAT MÓ models by offering notable performance in the respective segment.

The new SEAT MÓ 125 Performance

From an aesthetic point of view, a sporty attitude is anticipated, considering some connotative details such as the "MÓ 125" glossy black side badge, Black Pack which includes glossy black passenger handles, black fairing, glossy black handlebar rockers , a new premium dual-level SHAD saddle and battery protection ring also in glossy black. The specimen is available in the two new colors Blue Tarifa with a matte finish and Barcelona grey.
The chassis “racing based” includes sophisticated solutions such as the Andreani front forks with an updated setting, longer Gold-finish stanchions capable of absorbing greater travel and a larger oil seal.
In the rear area there is a mono-shock absorber created in collaboration with the specialist Öhlins and characterized by a setting dedicated to the chassis structure of the SEAT MÓ 125 Performance. The system is adjustable in compression, release and spring preload.
The braking system, then, includes Galfer brake discs obtained by laser cutting and have a daisy profile.

Power and propulsion

Among the technological features we highlight a high energy density lithium ion battery pack 5,6 kWh, which weighs just over 40 kg and can be recharged connected to the vehicle or removed to recharge by hooking the battery to a domestic socket. Using the home network, a full charge takes six to eight hours, according to the information. With a single charge, a range of up to 133 km is reported, taking into account the official WLTP test cycle.
On this model the synchronous electric propulsion system gives 12 horses transmits superior performance via a new e-Boost function. At a speed above 80 km/h the function can be called up, which provides greater thrust and allows you to reach a maximum speed of 105 km/h for 30 seconds, facilitating possible overtaking thanks to acceleration from 0 to 50 km /h in 2,9 seconds, as highlighted. After two minutes the system can be reactivated.

Proposal

The new SEAT MÓ 125 Performance it will be available in dealerships from the end of January at a list price starting from 5.760 euros including VAT.
