Andrea Dell'Orto, President of Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle and Motorcycle Accessories), said: “Our market continues to show positive numbers, despite an economic picture that is turning negative, especially in terms of forecasts for the second half of the year. year. We hope that the entire automotive sector will recover, but in the meantime we underline the vitality of the two wheels which continue on a virtuous path. It is interesting to note how both the scooter and motorbike segments are progressing, which means that sensitivity towards sustainable mobility is increasing, which the scooter fully interprets, but at the same time the passion for motorbikes is fuelled. We are waiting for the incentives for electric two-wheelers to become fully operational which, although they still represent a niche, show considerable growth potential. Finally, we also remember the expectations regarding the reform of the Highway Code, which can meet the needs of the 2 two-wheel users, unlocking numerous important issues on which the association has been working for some time".
