Various models and also the introduction of the first branded electric scooter Honda for the European market. The model is paired with Matt Iridium Gray Metallic, Matt Ballistic Black Metallic and an interpretation of the Ross White Tricolour livery which recalls that of the historic XL600V from 1987.
It features long-travel suspension and the setup promotes a functional riding position for control.
Other interesting aspects include on-board electronics with Throttle By Wire throttle control and five Riding Modes; a newly developed frame with diamond structure; 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel and a new Unicam 8-valve parallel twin engine with 270° crankshaft. Power reaches 92 horsepower at 9.500 rpm and torque 75 Nm at 7.250 rpm.
Honda CL500 it is another novelty that, taking inspiration from the Honda CL, combines a retro style with contemporary technological equipment. An example for an audience of young enthusiasts looking for a scrambler with a distinctive style.
In Italy the model is offered in the Matt Laurel Green Metallic and Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic color varieties and customization is possible by adopting original accessories.
Equipped with a tubular steel frame, a telescopic fork with 41 mm stanchions and preload-adjustable shock absorbers, along with 19-inch and 17-inch rims at the front and rear respectively; the new Honda CL500 is equipped with a 471 cc parallel twin-cylinder Honda engine, already present in the 500 cc Honda range, which falls within the maximum power margin of 35 kW. A unit paired with a six-speed gearbox. It can be driven by holders of an A2 license.
Lo also appears among the new models highlighted Honda electric scooter “EM1 e:”, the first of the brand aimed at the European market and also the first electric model of the announced EV range. The introduction of over 10 new electric models is expected globally by 2025. The model is expected to go on sale in the summer of 2023.
“EM” indicates Electric Moped and this model for city mobility is aimed at a young audience. The dimensions are small and has a flat platform. The scooter is equipped with a Honda Mobile Power Pack e: removable battery system, designed with reliability and durability in mind. According to the indications, a full charge offers a range of over 40 km. The battery is interchangeable and can be removed and recharged at home, for example.
