Honda CB125R 2024: the entry model to the Neo Sports Café range is renewed [PHOTO]

With full LED lights and new 5-inch color TFT display

Honda presents the renewed 2024 model of the CB125R, an entry-level motorcycle from the Japanese company's Neo Sports Café range.

Characterized by a minimal and aggressive style, the new Honda CBR125R has been equipped with a new 5 inch color TFT screen controlled by a completely new handlebar block. In addition to theEuro 5+ approval, obtained thanks to a new catalyst in the exhaust system and new maps, the 125 CBR2024R presents itself with four new colors available, all with matching tail and “CB” logo clearly visible on the front shrouds: Matt Cynos Gray Metallic, Pearl Cool White, Reef Sea Blue Metallic, Pearl Splendor Red.

The new Honda CB125R is powered by a 125 cc twin-shaft single-cylinder engine liquid-cooled four-valve engine, which develops 15 HP of power and 11,6 Nm of torque, supported by a 6-speed gearbox. The motorbike is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 105 km/h. 

Chassis and frame

In terms of chassis, the Honda CB125R is equipped with Showa SFF-BP fork with 41 mm upside down rods identical to the one mounted on the CB650R, radially mounted four-piston front brake calipers and 296 mm flangeless floating disc, ABS with IMU inertial platform. The frame with a steel structure with mixed, tubular and pressed elements underlines the compact, slender and minimal design of the CB125R. 

The new Honda CB125R has a weight of 130 kg, with a full tank of petrol of 10,1 liters guaranteeing a range of 460 km. The seat measures 816 mm high from the ground. The tyres, both low profile, are characterized by sportiness: 110/70 R17 at the front and 150/60 R17 at the rear.

The new 5-inch color TFT screen

The 2024 model of the CB125R enriches the standard equipment with the addition of a new 5-inch color TFT display which allows the rider to choose between three layouts for displaying the speed and rev counter parameters, showing information on consumption and gear engaged. Furthermore, it is possible to choose the number of revolutions at which the shift point LEDs are activated. Navigation of the display functions is handled intuitively new generation control block.

Equipped as standard with full LED lights, the new CB125R can be enriched by a wide range of original Honda accessories including five-level heated grips with memory, 12V ACC power socket and 15-litre seat rail, expandable to 22 litres, complete with rain cover.
