Honda CBR600RR 2024: arrives in April, from 11.990 euros [PHOTO]

After reveal last August in Suzuka, the new one Honda CBR600RR is getting closer to the expected return to the Italian market: the Japanese brand has announced its arrival next April. It is one of the company's most loved models of the last twenty years, which went out of production in 2016 and is now ready to hit the Italian and European roads again.

The quality characteristics

Il Asian brand has decided to reintroduce it on the market, given the return of interest in the medium-displacement sports segment, after the most difficult previous years. On the floor there is aaerodynamics very refined, with profiled fairing for minimum resistance to forward movement and front fins capable of generating downforce, even when entering and exiting corners, and full LED lights. The dashboard offers one color TFT screen, where all the information necessary while driving is present, with the possibility of choosing between three different graphic layouts.

THEbraking system it is of the Cornering ABS type with anti-lifting function of the rear wheel, while the four-piston radial-mount calipers have 310 mm floating discs. The chassis is made up of a double beam aluminum frame, aluminum swingarm with differentiated arms, Showa BPF (Big Piston Fork) fork with 41 mm stanchions and Showa shock absorber with Unit Pro-Link.

The engine

The new Honda CBR600RR is powered by a four cylinders in line, with 16-valve double overhead camshaft distribution (DOHC), with a power of 121 HP, equipped with slipper clutch and bidirectional Quickshifter. The accelerator control is Throttle By Wire and the on-board electronics uses a 6-axis IMU inertial platform from Bosch. THE Riding Modes there are 5, of which 3 are predefined and 2 are fully customizable.

The new Honda CBR600RR 2024 offers an introductory price of 11.990 € (fc), dedicated to enthusiasts who will sign the contract in the official dealerships of the Japanese brand before the start of deliveries, expected in April 2024.
