Milan Design Week 2024 also sees two wheels as protagonists, with some brands. It is the case of Honda. The Japanese brand, alongside the Sustaina C-Concept, shows his scooter to the public at the Milan event SH125i version Glass. That is, the special edition, with sustainable materials, to reduce CO9,5 emissions by 2% compared to traditional fairings.

“The SH125i Vetro series is an example of how small changes in the use of materials can bring concrete benefits for the environment – the words of Marcellus Vinciguerra CEO Honda Italia Industriale – In our Atessa plant, we are committed to improving the efficiency of our production methods, including the reduction of emissions produced”.

The quality characteristics

The SH125 scooter is one of the most popular of the Japanese brand, so much so that it is the best-selling model in Italy in 2023. At Design Week it is presented, as we said, in the special Vetro version. Compared to the classic model, it includes distinctive semi-transparent green fairings and unpainted, to reduce CO2 emissions. This new material is an alternative to ABS plastic, traditionally used for non-structural parts and components.
