QJ Motor SQ 16: the new 125 cc scooter for the city [PHOTO]

QJ Motor launches new SQ 16 scooter characterized by strong style, large underseat compartment and flat footboard. SQ 16, which marks the debut of the QJ brand in one of the most crowded segments of the Italian motorcycle scene, is driven by a 125 cc four-valve engine liquid-cooled which develops a power of 10,8 kW at 8.750 rpm and a torque of 12 Nm at 8.250 rpm. 

Agile in city traffic

Designed to best meet the needs of urban mobility, the SQ 16 scooter promises driving comfort, brilliant performance and reduced consumption. Equipped with a CVT automatic transmission, the SQ 16 features an effective suspension set with a 33 mm diameter telescopic fork at the front with 93 mm of travel, combined with the ABS braking system with dual-channel radial caliper acting on a 240 mm disc. At the rear, however, there are two coil spring shock absorbers with adjustable preload with a braking system with QJ caliper and 240 mm disc. 

Mix of style and practicality of use

QJ's new scooter is equipped with Full LED lighting system, with a front light signature characterized by two DRL bands combined with the central headlight. The instrumentation includes an LCD display, while on the dashboard there are the traction control warning light, the ABS warning light and a UBS socket for charging the smartphone. 

The SQ 16 scooter mounts 16-inch wheels and has wide flat platform with hook to attach a backpack. The standard equipment is completed by a 7,8 liter fuel tank and a voluminous 33 liter top case, in addition to the large underseat compartment. 

Availability and price

The new QJ SQ 16 scooter, which will arrive in dealerships in the next few weeks, is offered on the Italian market at price of 2.690 €.
