Pirelli: original equipment for naked and various new two-wheeled vehicles for 2020 [PHOTO]

Several new creations from nine different motorcycle manufacturers fit tires as original equipment Pirelli, based on what is indicated on the occasion. This choice has been reported for thirty-four new models with traditional propulsion and also electric ones.

A large and varied list

Seven tires have been selected to be worn as first choice from the various new products produced by Aprilia, Ducati, Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, Triumph Motorcycles and also from Energica Motor Company, Tacita e Zero Motorcycles. News which in most cases have been recently introduced at the 77th edition of EICMA. Specifically, these are tires that vary from types aimed at road or off-road use, up to high-performance proposals. Essentially from typologies highlighted as "timeless" as in the case of PHANTOM™ Sportscomp, to the proposal for road and on/off enduro made up of the specimens SCORPION™ Trail II, MT 60™ RS, MT 60™, therefore tires for sporting use DIABLO™ Supercorsa SP e DIABLO ROSSO™ CORSA II, as well as DIABLO ROSSO™ III, always repeating what has been reported.

A choice for many Italian novelties

Evaluating by motorcycle manufacturers, Pirelli tires fit various new products from Aprilia. Specifically: the brand new one RS 660 features DIABLO ROSSO™ Corsa II, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear; while the Thunder V4 1100 in color variations red Sachsenring e Magny-Cours grey includes DIABLO™ ROSSO III tires, 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear. Moving on to Tuono V4 1100 Factory, also with 175 horsepower, include pre-performance DIABLO™ Supercorsa, 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear. So the most powerful RSV4 RR e RSV4 RR Factory feature DIABLO™ Supercorsa SP, 120/70 ZR17 front and 200/55 ZR17 rear.
Speaking again of Italian brands, Pirelli's creations are also fitted with all the innovations introduced by Ducati and MV Agusta. Going into detail, starting with the models designed in Borgo Panigale, the new Street Fighter V4 and also the V4 p (queen of EICMA 2019) are equipped with DIABLO ROSSO™ CORSA II, 120/70 ZR17 front and 200/60 ZR17 rear. The new Panigale V2 it is always equipped with DIABLO ROSSO™ CORSA II, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/60 ZR17 rear; while DIABLO™ Supercorsa SP tires, 120/70 ZR17 front and 200/60 ZR17 rear, are linked to the new Panigale V4 also in version V4 p. The list continues with DIABLO ROSSO™ III, 120/70 ZR17 front and 240/45 ZR17 rear for Diavel 1260 “Dark Stealth” e Diavel 1260 S “Ducati Red” and always DIABLO ROSSO™ III, but in sizes 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear, for Monster 1200 S “Black on Black”. The Scrambler® Ducati Icon Dark stocking the MT 60™ RS, 110/80 R18 front and 180/55 R17 rear, finally the new Multistrada 1260S Grand Tour of the SCORPION™ Trail II, 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear.
Moving on to the Varese manufacturer, however, the sought after RUSH 1000 includes DIABLO™ Supercorsa SP, 120/70 ZR17 front and 200/55 ZR17 rear. Same choice also for the powerful one Brutal 1000 RR. Talking about Brutale 800 Red we opted for DIABLO ROSSO™ III, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear, then DIABLO ROSSO™ Corsa II, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear for the specimens Superfast 800 and exclusivity Superfast 800 Gold Series. So for the Turismo Veloce 800 Red the SCORPION™ TRAIL II, 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear.

There are various international models

Also interesting is the list of new products created by foreign manufacturers who always use the long P compounds. From the MT 60™ RS tire evaluated for appearance and performance quality, chosen as original equipment of the Scout Bobber signed by Indian Motorcycle in the dimensions 130/90 B16 front and 150/80 B16 rear; to the DIABLO ROSSO™ III in the sizes 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear fitted by the new high-performance Z H2 from Kawasaki. The first naked equipped with a drive unit with centrifugal compressor. So also examples made by Triumph Motorcycles like the new one Street Triple RS which features DIABLO™ Supercorsa SP in 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear sizes; the high-performance and exclusive Daytona Moto2™ 765 Limited Edition which features DIABLO™ Supercorsa SP, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear; concluding with the Bonneville Bud Ekins T120 e T100 Special Editions which fit PHANTOM™ Sportscomp, 100/90 – 18 front and 150/70 R17 rear, as reported.

Also fitted by electric motorbikes

The tires signed by Pirelli also represent the original equipment for exclusively electric motorbikes, such as the Energica Motor Company creations equipped with a new power unit with a powerful 21.5 kWh lithium polymer battery. Models like Ego+ which features DIABLO ROSSO™ III, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear. Same choice made for Rebel Eve. Or PHANTOM™ Sportscomp, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear for Eva EsseEsse9+.
Pirelli tires then for Tacita®, specifically the specimens T-Cruise Urban e T-Cruise Tourism such as DIABLO ROSSO™ III tires in the sizes 120/70 ZR17 front and 160/60 ZR17 rear. Finally, the American Zero Motorcycles, selecting for the DSR Black Forest Edition the MT 60™, in sizes 110/90 19 front and 130/80 17 rear, while for the SR / F the DIABLO ROSSO™ III, 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear, always considering the indications.
