Kawasaki Z900RS – Elegant, sporty and with a retro touch that is so fashionable these days. The new one arrives from Japan Kawasaki Z900RS, a tribute to the majesty of the legendary Z1. In front of us we have a motorbike with unquestionable charm and great substance. The new Z900RS, in fact, is driven by a vigorous 900cc inline four-cylinder which offers a great balance between sound, power and handling focused on the medium-low revs.

The trellis frame has been lightened as well as the overall weight of the bike. Furthermore, the fine-tuning of the chassis rigidity and frame geometry guarantees exceptional handling. The 41mm diameter upside-down fork contributes to optimal riding comfort and high potential in sportier riding. The response is excellent both on bumpy city asphalt and on the most tortuous roads. The fork features rebound and compression damping adjustment that allows precise settings to suit the rider's preferences and riding style.

The Z900RS is equipped with the Kawasaki horizontal back-link rear suspension. Like the front fork, the rear suspension offers the perfect balance between ride comfort and sporty performance. 300mm front discs clamped by radially mounted calipers provide high yet scalable stopping power. The radial brake master cylinder also contributes to improving the feeling when braking. The driving position is relaxed both in the city and on trips out of town and as soon as you get on board you have the feeling of maximum control, with high comfort and lots of fun on the most winding roads even when the pace becomes faster.

The KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control) has two modes to cover different situations and riding styles in total safety. The assisted and anti-slip clutch was developed thanks to feedback from the Kawasaki racing department. The clutch uses two types of cams, (a power-assisted cam and a slipper cam) to provide two functions not found on a standard clutch.
