They tried to steal a Kawasaki exhibited at EICMA, the motorcycle event that ended on Sunday at Fiera Rho Milano, posing as workers during the stand dismantling operations. But the two were discovered and reported for aggravated theft.

As reported by the police, the two perpetrators of the attempted theft of the motorbike are father and son, aged 55 and 18. The young man went into action on the morning of Monday 13 November, tagging along behind some authorized employees who were recovering the motorbikes at the Kawasaki stand, which had brought around sixty of them to the EICMA.

Three of the four workers who intervened in the Japanese company's stand area were real, while the fourth motorbike, which was not listed on the transport note, had disappeared, triggering searches throughout the fair, with the immediate reporting to the police who stopped the entrances. The missing motorbike, one Kawasaki KX 250X worth around €11.000, was found about an hour later at Cargo number 3. The vehicle was inside a van with a German license plate in which were the two men, father and son, of Slovenian origins and German nationality.
