After presentation last June, the renewed one Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R arrives on the Italian market and is now available at all dealerships of the Japanese brand. A model with an aggressive look, a renewed design and a 636 cm3 engine and a power of 124 horsepower. The price list for the Italian market starts by 12.790 euro (VAT included, road tax excluded).

The quality characteristics

On an aesthetic level, the new Ninja ZX-6R offers a sporty windshield line, redesigned with special openings, as well as some 3D graphic effects in the fairing, to make it more aggressive. Among the other characteristic elements there are the new aero-winglets, which incorporate a new generation of headlights, forming part of a complete LED lighting package.

Speaking of technology, this model is equipped with a new 4,3 inch color TFT display, featuring smartphone connectivity via Kawasaki's Rideology app. Information such as the gear shift warning light, a Kawasaki service reminder, an oil change reminder, the riding mode indicator, message notifications and calls from the smartphone will appear on the display. A Bluetooth indicator and an economical driving indicator are also integrated.

The special version

A special version of the motorcycle is also availableJapanese company, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Ninja brand. The green, blue and white colorway recalls the colors of the early '90s, with other retro details to recall the winning Endurance bike at the time, as well as the logo on the lower part of the fairing and the characters showing the displacement on the tail .

The engine

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is powered by the 636 cm3 engine liquid-cooled four-cylinder in-line engine with 124 horsepower, featuring revised camshaft profiles, meeting the most stringent emissions standards. Furthermore, the intake ducts and collector pipes have been revised. The braking system has also undergone a restyling for this 2024 version of the Supersport: the petal disc brakes give way to round ones.
