Kawasaki Z1000R Edition 2017 – Following the Sugomi design philosophy and with the reputation of remaining the only true Supernaked in circulation, the standard Z1000 is joined, from today, by the R Edition. The bikes, both Euro 4, maintain unchanged power and performance compared to the 2016 model.

The new Z1000 R Edition is a perfect mix of aggressive styling and Kawasaki engineering focused on achieving pure riding pleasure. Equipped with first-rate components, the R Edition is characterized by a new color scheme that combines Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Graphite Gray with distinctive yellow-green graphics. The seat with embossed Z logo and other small stylistic details give the bike a unique look.

The new Brembo-branded 310mm front floating disc with grooves for heat dissipation is coupled to Brembo M50 calipers with braided hoses. At the rear, the R Edition features the Öhlins S46DR1S mono, adjustable via the convenient remote control knob. Revised fork settings and modified rear suspension linkage increase handling and driving precision to be at the top of the category.

In terms of electronics, some control unit settings have been revised to make power delivery even more fluid, a gear indicator has been installed and now, a gear shift light signals the most appropriate moment to engage the higher gear.
