BMW R 18: the best customizations rewarded as part of the R 18 Your Choice project [PHOTO]

Il 22nd June there was the closing event of the web contest R 18 Your Choice. The five best customizations of BMW R 18 made by network dealers BMW Motorrad were awarded during a dedicated evening.

The news

The cruiser BMW R 18 was the protagonist of the project. An interesting starting point, already proposed in different declinations, customizable and reinterpretable.
The awards evening was hosted in Hall of Mosaics of Milan Central Station with motorbikes coming from all over Italy. Several were transported at night using the tracks, making the event even more evocative. An evening hosted by Frank Lotta and enriched by the musical entertainment of guitarist Maurizio Solieri's band, still underlining the partnership with Marshall, as well as by the presence of other friends of BMW Motorrad such as the actor Pierfrancesco Favino, already protagonist in the SoulFuelStories project.
Returning to the web contest, the jury coordinated by prof. Giacomo Bertolazzi, Head of Design at IED, met during the afternoon to see and evaluate the 27 creations based on various criteria. Four of the five prizes were awarded for Style, Personality, Creative Idea and Link with tradition. The fifth award was awarded by the public, the one for the most voted motorbike on the dedicated web platform.
The list of winners is as follows:

– R 18 Anarchy by M.Car, winner of the online contest;
– R 18 Vikingo by Aurelia Motorrad, best style;
– R 18 Apulia by Baldassarre Moto, better link with tradition;
– R 18 SportTail by Nivola Style, best creative idea;
– R 18 Glory by Motoshop 2000, best personality.
