La BMW R 1300 GS is the renewed enduro touring of Bavarian brand, with a reduced weight of 12 kilograms and a 145 HP engine for outstanding performance. The German motorcycle is equipped, in all its versions, with tyres Metzeler Tourance Next 2. With the option to request the Karoo 4, as an alternative.
Tourance Next 2 tires
These tires were original equipment specially designed, with specification B, for the R 1300 GS and are dedicated to those who use motorbikes who use motorbikes for long journeys or weekend excursions, alone or with a passenger.
According to what was announced by the tire brand, in fact, Tourance Next 2 offers easy handling and feeling of control thanks to the neutral behavior guaranteed by the radial structure with 0° steel belt, an immediate response to braking on wet surfaces, even at low temperatures, high and long-lasting performance for the entire life cycle of the tyre, with great comfort.
Karoo 4 tyres
As we were saying, tires can be requested (optional). Metzeler Karoo 4, dedicated mainly to those who use off-road motorbikes a lot. These multi-purpose tyres, in fact, are able to offer great off-road traction, even in the deepest mud, while allowing excellent resistance to abrasion, cuts and tears.
Exit and prices
The new BMW R 1300 GS is proposed on the Italian market with prices starting from 20.850 euros, with an expected arrival in dealerships between December 2023 and January 2024.
