After the 2013 world title in the 125 class and third place overall in the 2013 World Pro, BETA EVO arrives for 2014 elegantly dressed in a new black and white mix enriched by extremely refined red friezes that highlight the technical-racing soul of the product.

We remind you that BETA EVO MY2014, both 2t and 4t, is a 100% made in Italy product characterized by an engine with indisputable technical characteristics and cutting-edge chassis.
BETA takes advantage of the sporting experiences of the Beta Trial Factory Team and the suggestions of its audience to translate them into updates that refine the product over the years.

Below are the updates introduced in the 2t, 125cc-250cc and 300cc range:

CHASSIS
FRAME – in harmony with the new livery the frame will be black.
FORK
• NEW STEERING PLATES:
o Lighter and more resistant thanks to the new and more attractive gull wing pattern design and the reduction in the number of fixing screws (from 4 top/6 bottom to 2 top/4 bottom)
o NEW rear fixing with “CLAMP” screw instead of ring nut for ease of setup and weight reduction.
o NEW HANDLEBAR POSITION, now lower, for a better riding position.
o NEW DISTANCE of the HANDLEBAR STANDS which gives greater flexibility of the handlebar and consequent greater riding comfort.
• NEW SKF SEAL SEALS, inherited from the Evo Factory 2013, with low friction for greater smoothness of the fork.
• NEW CALIBRATION – for greater comfort and riding progression.

MONO-SHOCK ABSORBER
• NEW dedicated WHEELBASE.
• NEW SINTERED PISTON AND NEW CALIBRATION.
o Improved absorption capacity and progression to the benefit of comfort.

NEW UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION (250cc, 300cc) – new design to rationalize the shape, distribute the load and reduce weight.
LEVERAGE PROTECTION – introduced to protect against impacts and dirt, helping to reduce wear and reduce maintenance interventions.
EXHAUST MANIFOLD – (300cc) new length to smooth operation at low speeds and offer greater performance at high speeds with a gain in usability in any use.
SILENCER ATTACHMENT – new lower silencer attachment resulting from Beta's experience on competition fields.
FOOTPEGS – in micro casting, new, more attractive design, greater sturdiness, better ergonomics, greater grip and with a significant weight saving.
FOOTBOARD SUPPORTS – new color in harmony with the frame.
ECU (300cc) – updated mapping for greater HANDLING, EASY DRIVING and TO TUNE THE COUNTLESS NEWLY INTRODUCED COMPONENTS.

ENGINE
NEW PRIMARY DRIVE (300cc):
• Inherited from the 2013 Factory model but with plastic water pump gear instead of iron (lighter and quieter).
• Greater torque transmittable by the clutch.
• Softer clutch lever – reduced lever effort.
• New starting gear on the clutch bell which increases fatigue resistance and therefore reliability.
• New transmission ratio of the water pump impeller which allows the efficiency of the cooling circuit to be increased.
NEW FINAL DRIVE RATIO (300cc)
• consequence of the update indicated above: PINION 10 / CROWN 42 instead of 11/41 of 2013.
NEW CRANKSHAFT and CONNECTING ROD (300cc)
• Half-shafts and coupling axis with increased diameter.
• Everything to increase stability/stiffness and reduce crankshaft vibrations.
• Centralization of the inertial masses for increased handling.
• Reduced weight of the flywheel masses while maintaining the overall inertia of the engine unchanged.
CRANKCASE (300cc) – updated geometry to accommodate the new crankshaft. Redistributed mass to increase stiffness and strength. Equipped with a new central gasket (crankcase coupling) to improve sealing.
EXTERNAL HEAD COVER (300cc) – bleed screw introduced to facilitate filling the cooling circuit.

In production from 20 September, the new EVO 2t MY14 will be available from the official Beta dealer network with the following retail price (VAT included):
