EICMA arrives and Milan lights up with Motorcycle Week

From 7 to 12 November, the entire city of Milan is ready to get on track alongside the 75th edition of EICMA, with the new edition of Motorcycle Week, an event for those who have a motorbike inside them and want to live their passion day and night.

Motorcycle Week presents itself to the citizens of Milan and to the over 600 thousand visitors to EICMA with a schedule full of events that will bring the EICMA experience throughout the city. There are five areas that responded with great enthusiasm to the call of the International Exhibition: the Isola motorcycle district, the east side of Lambrate, the clubbing district of Garibaldi-Sempione, the creative nightlife of Porta Venezia and the "rebelot" of the Navigli and Darsena. And at the center of the map, again this year La Rinascente, an iconic place and symbol of the Milanese city, which presents the "Love to Ride". It too is richer and more spectacular than ever.
Five days, twenty-four hours a day, for a schedule of over 180 events and appointments throughout Milan.

During Motorcycle Week, there is space for culture, which travels from the legends of the Lambretta to cabaret, from the exciting journey through vintage advertising posters, to contemporary art. Fashion and lifestyle also play their part, with the presentation of collections of clothing, jewelery and exclusive accessories for bikers of all shapes up to the world of tattoos. Even gourmet lovers will be spoiled for choice, with the "biker-gastronomic" proposals of brasseries and restaurants, ranging between tradition and innovation.

The soundtrack of Motorcycle Week is made up of lots of music, of all genres: from the "bad" one of the rebels without redemption to the very stylish one of the Mods, from the party girl of the 50s to the forays into punk, country and indie. Added to which are the over 150 musical events organized by JazzMi, this year's cultural partner of Settimana della Moto. Milan from 7 to 12 November becomes like a huge stage, with: DJ sets, live shows and performances that meet the tastes of the large EICMA audience.
Motorcycle Week is therefore an opportunity for EICMA visitors and city-users of the metropolis to experience Milan in celebration, in legendary places but also by discovering new views and unprecedented city realities.
