Tucano Urbano, Good Wheels: a video campaign starring a plastic bottle

Tucano Urbano he still relies on sympathy to launch the line Good Wheels, the first composed of products developed with recycled polyester derived from plastic bottles. The protagonist of the new video campaign is a plastic bottle.

Innovation and sustainability

In the new video campaign, created by the Tucano Urbano marketing team in collaboration with the PUNCTUM STUDIO agency and with the contribution of the artist Grazia Bagnacavalli, aka ARTVADER, who humanized the plastic bottles queuing up to be recycled and transformed into yarn of the Good Wheels line, we start with a bottle fired by a personnel director. The next day everything changes for the bottle, because the life cycle has not ended but it resumes and lives again in the new Good Wheels jackets by Tucano Urbano.

Good Wheels for the Milanese brand it represents the beginning of a direct path towards increasingly sustainable production, starting from the way of designing and packaging the products. The commitment to creating products that can last over time or can be repaired, when possible, is also strengthened.

These are garments developed with fabrics deriving from the recycling of plastic bottles and the recycling of nylon materials such as yarns and post-consumer weaving waste, fishing nets, post-industrial waste fibers or other. In addition to the use of packaging reduced to a minimum and made with recycled and recyclable materials, the choice to make eco-sustainable textile finishes and Water Resistant treatments is also highlighted.
