Tucano Urbano: a complete range of leg covers for scooters

Now that the bad season is arriving, between cold and rain, for those who travel by scooter the leg cover is a key element to be able to shelter and warm up. Tucano Urbano develops this product, called Thermoscud, for over 20 years and has a complete range of over 200 models available on the market.

“In the past the shields were much simpler, the shapes more angular and the pieces were assembled with many screws, so for us the construction of the leg cover was simpler – the words of Mirko Tambascia, product manager of Milanese brand – now, everything is more complicated because the bodies have become rounded, there are no longer visible screws and the design is increasingly minimal. But we have always aimed to create Termoscud tailor-made for each scooter model".

What's new for 2023/24

The range is constantly evolving and there are also some new features for the 2023/24 winter season. Among others, theR234PRO specific for the Piaggio MP3 HPE 400/530 (Sport), theR238, also available in the PRO R238PRO version, for the Honda Forza (NSS) 125/350, and again theR244 and the R244PRO for the Yamaha X-Max 125/300.

Now we are moving towardselectrification and scooters are also protagonists of this change. Tucano Urbano branded leg covers also arrive for these models, such as the R233PRO for the BMW CE04, or the R237 for the Honda EM1e. “We apply the concepts of tailoring modeling to the study of the design of each bodywork”.
