Tucano Urbano presents EL'MAX and EL'CITY: two new ECE 22.06 approved helmets [PHOTO]

They are called EL'MAX ed EL'CITY the two new ones helmets presented by Tucano Urbano with European ECE approval 22.06. Capable of satisfying the European legislation that came into force in January 2021 which raises the safety bar on various fronts, the new Tucano Urbano helmets have remained faithful to the brand's rigorously urban design but with greater safety features.

The two new helmets were able to comply with the new parameters relating to the accessories integrated into the helmet (lights, Bluetooth, video camera), pass the new rotational impact tests, impact points on the entire surface of the shell, deceleration during impact, not only at high but also at low speed, of undermining from the front as well as from behind and of controlling the production flow to avoid counterfeiting. All this allowed us to create a more protective helmet, but also larger and heavier, which required Tucano Urbano to pay particular attention to fitting and proportions.

EL'MAX for extra-urban trips

Tucano Urbano EL'MAX it is a polycarbonate jet helmet designed for those who travel long-medium length journeys, including extra-urban ones, in everyday life. Particularly comfortable, EL'MAX has a breathable and hypoallergenic microfibre interior with Aero 3D mesh inserts, with ample space in the ear areas and Clima System ventilation with two air vents. The helmet is also equipped with a double visor, one transparent external and the other dark internal sun visor, for practical use in both winter and summer. Offered in three color variants (matt black, glossy white and glossy fluorescent yellow), the EL'MAX helmet has a recommended retail price of 159,90 €. 

EL'CITY for city driving

For city riding there is a jet helmet Tucano Urbano EL'CITY, also made of polycarbonate, with double visor and Clima System ventilation with three air vents, designed for those who move daily in city traffic. There are three colors available (black, airboner green and moondust grey), while the recommended retail price is 149,90 €.
