The KTM 450 RALLY Replica presented

“READY TO RACE”: KTM offers a customer version of the multiple Dakar winner: almost identical to the KTM Rally Factory ridden by the winners of the last editions Mathias Walkner, Toby Price and Sam Sunderland, the new REPLICA benefits from all the technological innovations that also 2018 brought success to the Austrian company.

The objective was to create a light, agile, comfortable and stable motorcycle: it was achieved thanks to a series of elements that contribute to the centralization of masses and weight distribution, including a new softer saddle, redesigned tanks and the new Akrapovič silencer.
The new superstructures have advanced aerodynamics that increase rider comfort and optimize visibility over the front wheel through the carbon turret that houses the navigation instruments.

The single-cam engine has been updated and offers greater power thanks to the redesigned cylinder head, greater durability and a new transmission: the engine control unit management system and the throttle body have also been renewed.
The filter box has also been redesigned and this has allowed the battery and part of the electrical system to be repositioned, to the full advantage of mass centralization, a key factor in the development of this new motorcycle.

The 2019 version of the KTM 450 RALLY REPLICA has a completely new chassis, tested and developed by the official riders to best tackle the fast and sometimes technical routes that have characterized the latest editions of the Dakar. In fact, the bike offers greater braking stability without sacrificing the incredible precision and rigor on long fast sections, details that have made KTM rally bikes famous.

The KTM 450 RALLY REPLICA is also equipped with a new swingarm, which combined with the monoshock and the linkage, both revised, guarantees greater traction during acceleration: the 48 mm WP XACT PRO closed cartridge fork, thanks to the sophisticated Cone Valve damping system , guarantees wide excursion and greater precision on rough surfaces, to the benefit of driving precision.
