This video takes enthusiasts to the KTM headquarters in Mattighofen, where the engineers explain how the 1390 Super Duke R was born. Among the protagonists of the video, there is also Jeremy McWilliams, former MotoGP rider, point of reference on the track for the research and development technicians of the Austrian brand.

The Irish rider explains that, in the development of a new motorbike, there is no sensor or control unit that can replace the human being, but at the same time he underlines how important it is to work rubbing elbows with the engineers to find the best setting, on the road and on the track.

Talking about the new KTM 1390 Super Duke R, this model gains a new LED headlight, almost 700 grams lighter than the previous unit, and a more muscular and bold line, thanks also to a new 17,5 liter tank. The rear of the bike has also been redesigned.

As for the engine, the Super Duke's iconic LC8 has been updated to deliver 190 hp of power and 145 Nm of maximum torque, reaching a displacement of 1.350 cc. Also leading to an optimization of consumption and emissions, in compliance with the Euro 5+ regulation.
