Royal Enfield Scram 411: a new crossover ADV example presented [PHOTO]

Royal Enfield Scram 411 it's the first one ADV crossover of the brand. A road scrambler powered by a single-cylinder engine and with versatile features that are functional on urban roads and more demanding routes.

A motorbike with refined clothes

The retro and at the same time sculpted and distinctive style is enlivened by eye-catching liveries. Clothes that make this ADV crossover recognizable and also recall urban atmospheres, with dark tones associated with brighter and contrasting shades that refer to metropolitan Street Art. The motorcycle can be enriched with components from the range of original Royal Enfield accessories. The entry level variants are offered in Graphite Yellow, Graphite Red e Graphite Blue, colors matched to a tank Gun Gray and with badges in colors matching the ribbons on the rims. The prominent model is proposed in the liveries White Flame e Silver Spirit with a two-tone tank and distinctive graphics.
 


Technique and equipment

Defined on the platform of Royal Enfield's LS-410 engine and on a Harris Performance chassis, this example is characterized by targeted changes in the driving geometry and ergonomics to be functional in the city and outside of urban contexts.
The model is equipped with a digital/analog instrument panel with essential information on the digital display. A classic touch is attached to the style of the analog speedometer and the instrument cluster also features an automatic odometer, a trip meter, a clock, a fuel level indicator with reserve warning and a maintenance reminder, according to the information. A navigation system is also offered on the different variants Royal Enfield Tripper.
Defined to support rider and passenger comfort during long rides, the seat also highlights a design inspired by the urban environment. An accessible height is highlighted to facilitate maneuvers in traffic and control of the vehicle in various situations. The motorcycle is equipped with a telescopic front suspension with forks 41 millimeters with 190 mm of travel and a rear monoshock with linkages and 180 mm of excursion. Also noteworthy is a braking system with front and rear discs combined with a dual-channel ABS solution. The dual-purpose front tire results from 19 inches, the rear one from 17 inches.

Motor

The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 features a single-cylinder engine 411 cc, a four-stroke, fuel-injected, air-cooled heart featuring a single overhead camshaft.
The power vertex is of 24,3 horses at 6.500 rpm with a torque of 32 Nm at 4.000-4.500 rpm. 

Availability

The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 will arrive in official dealers in Europe at the beginning of May, according to information.
