Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: series version revealed

Last November thespecial and limited edition Motoverse Edition, now comes the series version: we are talking about the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. A motorbike inspired by the world of customs, on sale from February 1st throughout Europe, starting from a price of 7.300 euros.

The quality characteristics

This model offers a retro-futuristic design, combined with modern features. The LED headlights are set in a custom housing and has optimized ergonomics with centrally positioned footpegs, asaddle height of only 795 mm and an easy-to-manoeuvre handlebar. The suspensions are specially tuned with 43 mm Showa SF-BPF forks at the front, the Twin Tube rear shock absorber offers 5 preload adjustments, while the tires are 18" at the front and 17" at the rear, with 320 and 300 millimeter disc brakes.

The analogue/digital instrumentation of the motorbike, complete with Tripper navigation system, is designed to provide all the information necessary for driving. It also has a USB port to charge all your devices even when travelling. Thanks to its design modulate, can easily transform from a classic single-seater to a two-seater, up to a tourer suitable for even longer journeys. In fact, it is enough to turn a key to remove the passenger seat.

The engine

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is powered by an engine 648cc parallel twin, whose power and performance have not been announced.

Exit and prices

Test rides and sales will begin across Europe on February 1st with four colors available (Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Green Drill and Sheetmetal Grey), starting by 7.300 euro.
