Piaggio is the protagonist of the mobility of the future with Gita and Kilo
They are Fast Forward's first creations
Piaggio Fast Forward – Piaggio presented in Boston, a few steps from Harvard and MIT, GITA and KILO, the first projects developed by Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF), a company established and controlled by Piaggio and an advanced American research center on the mobility of the future. Piaggio thus explores the evolution of the world of mobility and does so with the future in mind, broadening its vision to technological solutions that are decidedly broader than its current core business.
GITA is an autonomous, intelligent vehicle designed to assist people. Carry up to 18 kg, observe, communicate. It can follow a person reaching 35km/h and can move autonomously in a mapped environment. The spherical shape and clean design characterize its personality. KILO is the "big brother" of GITA, and thanks to a larger load capacity it can carry up to 100 kg of weight in its 120 liter compartment. It has extraordinary stability thanks to its three-wheel support.
Piaggio anticipates, once again, the needs of a profoundly changing world regarding the movement of things and people. GITA and KILO are the answer to the future needs of a new concept of mobility, light transport vehicles that reposition man at the center of innovation to give him greater autonomy and a better quality of life. With PFF, the Piaggio Group carries out highly advanced research activities which also directly benefit the development of its brands and products. The presentation of GITA and KILO is the first result of this new research activity and comes alongside what the Piaggio Group is already experimenting with for the continuous development and improvement of the technology and safety of its current and future series vehicles.
