KTM improves the SX range even further

KTM – After the launch last year of the SX range, where KTM had introduced important innovations such as the new frame combined with the brand new WP AER 48 air fork and the new engines (with the exception of the 2T 250 SX model), the Austrian and North American R&D departments have made some updates, which have further improved the SX.

The bikes in the KTM SX range can now count on what was developed in the race. The new SX are a concentration of technology and performance, all sharing the same chrome-molybdenum steel trellis frame, high-performance Brembo brakes, Excel rims with CNC machined hubs, Dunlop Geomax MX 3S tyres, "no dirt" footrests, airbox with "intelligent" air filter, superstructures developed based on the pilots' indications, electric starting as standard (except on the 125 SX) and much more.

On the new bikes, KTM customers will be able to count on small changes, which improve performance and some important new features, such as the 4-stroke traction control, adjustable via the new map selector on the handlebar. "Last 2016 was the year of the total renewal of the SX range and we are certain that we have created the best cross bikes on the market.” said Joachim Sauer, KTM Offroad Product Manager. “But at KTM, despite the numerous successes achieved, such as Ryan Dungey's title in the FIM Supercross World Championship, we do not rest on our laurels and have made numerous updates, the result of the continuous feedback that comes to us from Motosport and from racing fields around the world . Among the main innovations, the most interesting is certainly the arrival of the new SX 250.
