New confrontation for the protagonists of KTM Enduro Trophy 2023 in San Marino, following the double stage in Spoleto. The third test, organized by the Motoclub Titano of the Republic of San Marino, was faced by almost 300 participants.

The race

Success in the overall was once again achieved by Giuseppe Arangio Febbo and the class rankings were also reported online, as follows:

Seven successes out of the 9 classes were achieved by riders with bikes equipped with Metzeler tyres. The paddock area was livened up by the points of the various KTM partners and also by the presence of the new standard EXC and SIX DAYS models for 2024, introduced to the national press at the event on Friday.
The previous rains however left some scars in view of the event, the record lap of over 80 km initially planned was modified due to a series of landslides, even if the comparison took place regularly thanks to the work of the organization and given a series of alternative routes. Even the changes requested by the track inspector Giovanni Sala, after the other rains in the previous days, were overcome thanks to the good climate which dried the route.

Saturday night there was timed prologue in motocross style with the special test on Sunday on the Baldasserona track, reworked in some parts to be able to be tackled by all participants. A show made up of 13 sets which lasted from 16pm to 30pm. After the start at the gates and the reconnaissance, three laps of the race for everyone, considering the sum of the times of each lap added to the times of Sunday with the traditional Enduro challenge over two laps. According to the regulations, a shorter second lap for the Iron, Super Iron, Vintage, Revival, Bicilindrica and Freeride classes. Two time checks are scheduled, the first at an hour and 19 minutes arriving in Villagrande di Montecopiolo, then the next after an hour and 30 minutes. Present in the first sector are the two ribbon Cross Tests, the first in the aforementioned cross-track, the second more technical in a nearby area with various counter-slopes. The Enduro Test was scheduled in the second sector with the technical Enduro test.

After the summer break, the KTM Enduro Trophy will start again on the weekend of September 10th in the Bormida Valley between Piedmont and Liguria, from Cairo Montenotte (SV).
