KTM 390 Adventure 2023: a closer look at the model [VIDEO]

In the new appointment of the “100% Birchy Approved” series, proposed by KTM on YouTube, the protagonist is the KTM 390 Adventure for the 2023.

The specimen

La KTM 390 Adventure it is a compact motorbike with versatile qualities and for 2023 it is equipped with renewed graphics that reinforce its sporty vision, to which is also added a new variant designed for those who love to tackle off-road routes, equipped with aluminum spoked wheels black anodized of different sizes. At the front there is a 19-inch wheel, while at the rear there is another 17-inch.
The model is powered by a four-stroke single-cylinder engine 373 cc with double overhead camshaft, four valves, 46 mm throttle body, electronic injection, a countershaft to dampen vibrations and a slipper clutch.
The power reaches altitude 44 horses at 9.000 rpm with a torque of 37 Nm at 7.000 rpm. It can also be driven by holders of an A2 licence.
The example with die-cast alloy wheels is covered with the colors Black / Orange e Blue / Orange, while the variant with spoked wheels is combined with a livery Orange.

Versatility and agility

According to information, the weight is low to 172 kg with a full tank. This can hold 14,5 liters of fuel and the minimum seat height is 830 millimeters. The bike is equipped with WP APEX suspension solutions, a 43 mm front fork and mono-shock that can be managed in compression, rebound and preload. The braking system consists of BYBRE solutions with a 320 mm front disc with four-piston caliper and a 230 mm rear one. The spoked wheels of the new version are fitted with Continental TKC 70 tyres, to better support the performance on off-road surfaces.
The model is always characterized by a resistant and lightweight steel trellis frame, which is combined with a removable rear subframe.

The renewed KTM 390 Adventure, like other examples of the Austrian brand, includes solutions such as LED headlights and a 5-inch color instrument display. Bosch electronics evolved to support the various systems are highlighted. The accelerator control is Ride by Wire and highlights management carried out via a button panel linked to the handlebar block on the left, an OFFROAD mode with the relevant OFFROAD ABS, Traction Control and Cornering ABS.
