BMW M 1000 XR prototype: an example of sporting vitality from Berlin to the Isle of Man [VIDEO]

Among the characteristic elements of the prototype, the M winglets on the fairing stand out, functional to stability and grip on the road surface, in particular during acceleration and when traveling at a consistent pace. The additional load on the front wheel counteracts the tendency to surge during acceleration, which represents a benefit for performance. A seating position specifically oriented towards the front wheel is also highlighted, with control in mind.
There is also mention of solutions for the M braking system with radial brake master cylinder for optimal performance. Remembering the sportswoman M 1000RR and the roadster M 1000 R, also in this case an M braking impact is expected, achieved thanks to the experience acquired with the systems used on racing motorbikes in the Superbike World Championship. The M brake calipers feature a blue anodized coating to which the M logo is attached.
