yamaha Motor highlights evolutions and refined technology, talking about the new creations in the range off-road for competition, especially new ones YZ450F e YZ250F.

Yamaha YZ450F 2020

It features a compact engine made up of a single cylinder 450 cc, 4 times liquid cooled, DOHC a 4 valves, linked to a five-speed transmission always engaged via a renewed clutch. It starts through an electronic system connected to a lithium ion battery made up of four cells, by pressing a button. It is inclined backwards and positioned in an appropriate way to centralize the masses. A heart equipped with an electronic injection system Mikuni® with a throttle body from 44 millimeters and supported by functional angled radiators, then embraced by a bilateral aluminum frame, composed of more massive tubes and thinner spars, as well as new supports for the aforementioned engine.
The chassis consists of a front fork KYB® coil spring and adjustable as well as a rear shock absorber always KYB® with a manageable connection, therefore a braking system with front caliper combined with a disc 270 mm and a new rear system visible inside lightweight anodized rims. The tuning of the vehicle can be carried out via a system GYTR Power Tuner with an application that allows remote control of various parameters, taking into account the relevant indications. Using a switch on the handlebar you can also adjust the mapping of the vehicle based on the type of stretch to be tackled. Also mentioned a system Launch Control (LCS) focused on the input of power to optimize the sprint, an exhaust developed in order to favor an appropriate centralization of the weights, therefore a thin saddle, a compact shaped tank (6,2 litres) and streamlined covers dedicated to the radiator, considering the needs of every pilot. The saddle height amounts to 965 mm and the weight in running order is 112 kg, taking the data from the model.

Yamaha YZ250F 2020

The principles of compactness, mass optimization and technological management also apply to the specimen 250 for competition. The single-cylinder engine reversed from 250 cc with inverted head 4 DOHC valves and liquid cooling with electronic injection, is characterized by a straight intake duct and symmetrical intake and exhaust manifolds. The specimen is configured on an aluminum double-spar frame, suspension KYB® and a varied overview of engine-related solutions including a resistant clutch with low spring load and five-speed transmission that always engages. An electronic starting system with low weight, corner radiators and mapping management control is reported. The tank can hold 6,2 liters of fuel, always following the indications.
