Yamaha, Ténéré Spirit: a season of adventures on two wheels

Ténéré Spirit is a set of activities aimed at twin-cylinder enthusiasts Yamaha with a versatile character.

The events of Ténéré Challenge, Ténéré Experience Discovery e Alps Tourist Trophy constitute the main strands of the Ténéré Spirit. Three initiatives different in type and nevertheless interesting for every adventure enthusiast.

The first scheduled event is an "off-road day", scheduled for Saturday 19 March at Maggiora Off-Road Arena, one of the most famous off-road facilities, animated on the occasion by test rides on Ténéré or on board ATVs, driving courses, guests and surprises at the start of the season which includes other events on the calendar.

Il Ténéré Challenge, which only concerns specimens of Tenére 700, figure within the Italian Motorally Championship. In each round, the Yamaha organization will set up the paddock to welcome the riders who will also be able to meet the multiple champion Alessandro Botturi. Also present was Niccolò Pietribiasi, who after winning the 2021 Ténéré Challenge, will be Alessandro's Team Mate in the Official Yamaha Rally Team. To take part in the Ténéré Challenge, an FMI competitive license and registration for events are required.

La Ténéré Experience Discovery it is new for the season and is aimed at less experienced motorcyclists who, on the same dates as the Challenge, will be able to navigate a less demanding parallel route. Participants will be followed by a tutor to enjoy the experience of exploration.

Those who appreciate challenges and also want to discover evocative places in various parts of the country can take part in the Alps Tourist Trophy. A series of motorbike-tourism events with a ranking established based on navigation ability and regularity of travel. For owners of Ténéré 700, a special ranking is foreseen - Ténéré Adventourer, being able to aim for final success with entry into the Yamaha Team of the Swank Rally in Sardinia at the end of September, as highlighted.
