Yamaha sole supplier of engines for the Premoto3 in the CIV

Further confirmation of the commitment to motorsport comes from the announcement that the same yamaha Motor did by confirming the achievement of a two-year agreement with the Italian Motorcycling Federation in CIV as sole supplier of engines for the Premoto3 category starting from 2019.

What will change?

This change will lead to having a single category, no longer Premoto3 125 2T and 250 4T, but a united class in which there will be a single engine supplied by the manufacturer of the three tuning forks. An agreement reached thanks to a long-lasting partnership, in which Yamaha has brought its experience to the CIV for years and with which the convergence of programs for the growth of young people will continue. We think that the performance and reliability guaranteed by our engines, usually used to equip YZ250F motocross bikes, will allow a balanced championship with extremely low costs“.
