To open this morning's meeting, in Palace of the National Sports Federations of CONI, was the President of the Italian Motorcycle Federation John Copioli : “Roma Motodays is an event of great importance and the FMI is proud to be part of it... During the event we will organize many initiatives, institutional and otherwise, aimed at the numerous enthusiasts who will visit the Capitoline Motorcycle Show, which has reached the important milestone of its tenth edition. We care a lot about this collaboration also because Roma Motodays is a partner of the Italian Speed Championship, organized directly by the Federation. There is an excellent relationship with CEO Pietro Piccinetti and all his collaborators, thanks to which a great synergy was born. I wish the organizers of this fair all the best which, I am sure, will obtain excellent numbers and feedback".

Satisfied with the partnership with FMI, the engineer Pietro Piccinetti, Sole Director of Fiera Roma but also a practicing motorcyclist: “United we win and therefore we are happy that this close collaboration is born... Fairs have always been meeting points, open spaces and business opportunities and therefore it is essential to agree to grow. All motorbikes lead to Rome, and Rome is the undisputed two-wheel capital of the Mediterranean with an exorbitant number of two-wheelers. To affirm it more forcefully, we wanted to develop a verticalisation, we are talking about developing possible future initiatives together with ANCMA and EICMA, and already this year giving Roma Motodays a strong tourist connotation. Congress tourism is a fundamental aspect of Italian economy and for this reason we have planned international presences in pavilion 6 and the 'International Two-Wheel Tourism Exchange'. Fiera Roma is becoming a great driving force for the economy..."

The first ten years – “Roma Motodays is a project born from an idea by Roberta Corradini, who came from the motorized two-wheel sector, and who proposed to involve engineer Silvio Manicardi, today more than ever a pillar of this event, he recalled Mauro Giustibelli, Exhibition Manager of Rome Motodays. “Since then we have had guests eight world champions and two Roman riders who are always close to us: Michelle Fabrizio e David Giugliano. In these ten years we have totaled over 25.000 tests carried out with the Riding Experience, we have hosted over 2.340 exhibitors, with 2.870 motorbikes in 43 pavilions, on 376.000 internal m55.000 and 1.164.000 external m63. There were a total of 220.000 visitors and 350.000 hours of entertainment. And for numbers lovers, XNUMX sandwiches and XNUMX beers were sold."

Fixed presence, including that of television host and painter Charlie Gnocchi “I am a friend of Roma Motodays because I am a motorcyclist and in Roma Motodays I found my natural habitat, as well as many friends... In Rome you can use the motorbike 11 months a year while looking out over beautiful landscapes. We really have the best! I will be at Rome Motodays with my paintings depicting motorbikes and with which I support Peter Pan Onlus. The motorbike is a symbol of health, friendliness, fun and sociability and for this reason events like Roma Motodays must grow more and more. We have all it takes to become the most important European international motorcycle fair!”

“I am thrilled to be head of the Scientific Promoting Committee of Roma Motodays because this initiative has brought many ideas and has allowed us to make a leap in quality beyond our own expectations. In particular, we have undertaken a journey with the Roma3 and Niccolò Cusano universities of Rome and this has allowed us to raise the level of our technological preparation... The universities will be present during the days of Roma Motodays and will explain to us the innovations they have planned in our sector ” he commented, eng. Silvio Manicardi, also announcing: “The vintage area has also been confirmed, which every year focuses on a specific theme: in this edition it will be dedicated to Motorcycles in Uniform. We will have around twenty-five extraordinary pieces of motorcycles, not only Italian ones, that will give us a breath of vintage air. There will also be 10 "Vintage Friends" who will present the most interesting bikes from their collections and the public will be able to vote for the stand they like the most. And finally, if the weather is kind we have also planned a parade of Seventies motorcycles. The institutions will be present as always: the Italian Army will bring driving simulators for the kids in order to combine entertainment with an educational function and the Air Force will also be there, with its flight simulator which is always in great demand".

Monica 'Cromilla' Dorigatti : “The tourism area will be completely renewed thanks to the International Two-Wheel Tourism Exchange… Operators from the various Italian regions will be joined by operators from all over the world. There are also many appointments with motorbike travelers in a very busy calendar of meetings. The characteristic of our area will be a profiled audience, we will not only have curious people but many clubs that will participate and interact with us."

Michelle Fabrizio: “I am the only driver to have participated in all editions. As a Roman, I am very happy that Rome has such an important fair for two wheels, which was missing... From this year I am also part of the Promoting Committee of Roma Motodays and therefore I discovered how much work goes on 'behind the scenes', which is truly exciting. A bit like preparing for a championship, which I recently also experience as a team manager, even if this year I will return to racing in the CIV. But before the track, I'll meet you at Fiera Roma".

Davide Stirpe: “I will be present at Rome Motodays as an instructor, I really like to pass on my riding experiences to younger people. My dream is to open an IMF certified school. A school like this is missing in Rome and central Italy and I would like to fill this gap.”

Letizia Marchetti“When it comes to motorbikes I can't miss it: I never miss the appointment with Roma Motodays and I'm happy that this year there will be events dedicated to female motorcyclists... This year too I will compete with the men, in the R1 cup, and I'm sorry to be the only woman. I would like other girls to follow my example because with work and results you can break down prejudices in such a masculine world as that of two wheels. For example, now, thanks to my performance, colleagues see me as a pilot and not as a woman.”
