The motorcycle

Connectivity via Bluetooth is also worth mentioning with the use of a Yamaha My Ride app and among the solutions we highlight a traction control that can be deactivated, an anti-slipper clutch and an optional electronic gearbox.
From a technical point of view, the bike always presents a Deltabox frame, it is also equipped with a new triple tree defined taking inspiration from that of the R1 specimen and there is also a KYB upside-down fork at the front, combined with an adjustable mono-shock absorber at the rear.
The propulsive heart remains a single-cylinder 125 cc with four valves and variable valve timing, Euro 5. The power reaches i 15 horses at 10.000 rpm, the torque touches down 11,5 Nm at 8.000 rpm.

Availability

The renewed Yamaha R125 is expected in European Yamaha dealerships from March 2023.
