The new Yamaha NMAX It is characterized by its aerodynamic hull, the typical "boomerang" motifs on the sides inspired by the larger displacement "MAX" models and the compact silhouette, characteristics that offer younger scooter riders a glamorous and convenient alternative for getting around the city . The engine of the new Yamaha NMAX it's a 4 cc liquid-cooled 125-stroke, designed with the new approach “Blue Core”, which aims to create a new generation of compact engines, capable of making driving fully enjoyable, but which are truly low in consumption and attentive to the impact on the environment. To achieve these results, Yamaha engineers focused on combustion and cooling efficiency, while simultaneously reducing power losses with the use of innovative technologies. Furthermore, the new engine is equipped with an electronic injection system which introduces the air/fuel mixture through an elliptical duct directly into the combustion chamber, optimizing combustion to obtain immediate starts and low consumption. The consumption measurement, followed through the WMTC (World Motorcycle Test Cycle) procedure, highlighted a fuel consumption of 45,7 km with one litre, confirming a scooter that represents a decidedly convenient way of getting around the city and its surroundings.

The sporting DNA of the new Yamaha NMAX It is also noticeable in the design of the new frame, a light and resistant structure of small diameter steel tubes, with a good rigidity balance. The lightweight tubular steel frame was developed to ensure a comfortable ride and it also offers excellent sensitivity on the behavior of the front wheel. The high torsional rigidity of the frame also ensures a comfortable ride with a feeling of stability. The new Yamaha NMAX it was designed to deliver first-class comfort for pilots and passengers of all sizes. The design of the scooter is such as to allow the rider to ride with his legs extended, while the space available allows the rider to assume the preferred position, relaxed or sporty. A particularly significant feature of NMAX is standard ABS, a solution that makes the Japanese brand's model even more interesting, especially for newbies. The Yamaha NMAX also adopts a double rear shock with 90 mm travel, which translates into unique driving comfort, with good chassis rigidity and a feeling of stability. The adoption of 13" wheels also contributes to the feeling of comfort and ensures stability at high speed.

The new Yamaha NMAX it will be available in 3 different colors: Power Red, Frozen Titanium and Milky White, starting since the end of June 2015, while by the end of May we will know the list price.
