A powerful heart

The bike is equipped with a new engine three cylinders online from 1.160 cc reshaped and lighter than 7 kg and the expressed power reaches 180 horses at 10.750 rpm e 125 Nm of torque at 9.000 rpm. Values ​​increased by 30 horsepower compared to the previous figure with the intervention of the limiter at 11.150 rpm and a characteristic "back" at low and medium speeds, as well as 8 Nm more torque.
We note the presence of a new multi-disc slipper clutch that is lighter and operates with a smaller number of discs and a six-speed gearbox. Also highlighted is the power/weight ratio refined by 25% compared to the 1.050 model and double compared to the first generation of the Speed ​​Triple from 1994, as reported.

A sporty and elegant line

An aerodynamic looking motorcycle, with a distinctive light signature and liveries Sapphire Black with red and silver accents or the version Matt Silver Ice with black, silver and yellow graphics that underline its elegance and grit. Among the new superstructure details, a carbon front mudguard, the matching engine guard, the compact tail and new 17-inch aluminum wheels with a V-design. There are also 35 original accessories of note.
The headlights stand out full LED with function DRL in the front area and directional indicators equipped with automatic deactivation function. Among the interesting aspects are also an integral key-less system (which can be deactivated for safety reasons via the remote control integrated in the key, as indicated) and a 5-inch TFT screen instrumentation with two different themes, including a Lap Timer function.
The electronic overview is varied considering My Triumph Connectivity System, being able to use arrow navigation (turn-by-turn) via the “My Triumph” app or manage the GoPro for example; a Continental MIB-EVO ABS integrated with a 6-axis inertial platform (IMU) and an ABS control unit; a new Cornering Traction Control with refined action and four differentiated intervention levels, as well as a possible deactivation considering the five customizable driving modes and an evolved "Track" map, choosing between Rain, Road, Sport, Track and Rider; a wheelie control system with action linked to advanced algorithms and the IMU platform; an optimized Triumph Shift Assist using a new sensor for both uphill and downshifting; a new Cornering ABS which has also been optimised.

Other technical aspects

Figure a new frame that is 17% lighter, designed to support responsiveness and dynamic precision with a center of gravity moved further forward and lower. The curb weight amounts to 198 kg, 10 kg less than the previous generation.
The 13 mm wider handlebar allows for a more dominant position on the front wheel and the general ergonomics are refined with the repositioning of the footpegs. The saddle has been redefined, present at a height of 830 mm.
The prospectus also highlights adjustable Öhlins suspensions with a setting that transmits comfort on the road whilst supporting high-performance dynamism on the tracks. At the front there are USD Öhlins NIX30 forks, which can be managed in terms of preload and hydraulic rebound and compression, while at the rear there is an Öhlins TTX36 monoshock mono-shock absorber, which can be adjusted in preload, compression and rebound. The Brembo high-performance braking system features monobloc, radially mounted Brembo Stylema® calipers at the front, with double 320 mm discs. We also note an adjustable Brembo MCS lever.
