The new born from Suzuki follows that of the RM-Z450 in look, taking up the traditional stylistic features with a characteristic beaked mudguard, but sets itself the ambitious goal of obtaining a perfect balance, which allows Suzuki riders to excel on tracks of all the world.

The engineers of the Hamamatsu company focused mainly on the three areas of performance generators, "Run", "Turn" and "Stop" (starting, cornering and braking), therefore raising the bar compared to the performance of the current model: the new RM-Z250 2019 is set to mark an era in the world of competition.

A winning balance

The 250 RM-Z2019 makes the most progress in terms of handling and cornering speed. The credit goes to the sturdy aluminum frame and the newly designed variable section swingarm. The set-up is then the result of careful fine-tuning and the fork adopts new springs. The rigidity of the entire chassis is optimized for unparalleled driving precision on any terrain, also achieved by adopting new tyres.

The braking system is upgraded, with a larger front disc and pads.

The superstructures are derived from the 450 RM-Z2018 and express great dynamism. The front is characterized by the beaked mudguard, which represents a distinctive feature of the glorious lineage of Suzuki off-road vehicles. The various elements make the 250 RM-Z2019 slimmer and more streamlined, ensuring a perfect riding position for riders of all sizes. With its shape, the Renthal Fatbar aluminum handlebar, in particular, guarantees total control and also gives a special touch to the design.

A searing shot

The single-cylinder engine of the 250 RM-Z2019 benefits from important updates to the intake and exhaust system, especially revised in the internal part of the silencer. The interventions translate into quicker responses to the accelerator, higher torque and greater maximum power. Beyond the absolute values, this Suzuki engine has an incredibly progressive and linear delivery, ideal for putting any rider at ease and allowing competitors to express themselves at the highest levels.

To make the most of all this potential at the start, the rider has the advanced Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) system. For all other driving situations, Suzuki has then developed an ingenious traction management device which regulates the power delivered by the engine based on parameters such as number of revolutions, accelerator position and gear engaged. Simple and ingenious, it improves traction on any surface and gives each rider the opportunity to improve his lap times on any track, also making the bike more fun and easier to manage.

Thanks to the new chassis and the updated engine, the RM-Z250 is ready to dictate the law in races as well as to accompany amateurs on occasional outings.

Production of the 250 RM-Z2018 will begin in December and the first deliveries will take place in early 2019.
