The two new bikes are the protagonists of two tours with 27 stages around Italy

After revealing themselves at EICMA a few days ago, the Suzuki news 2024 presented as a world premiere at the Milanese event, they are ready to show themselves to the general public with a Premiere Show which will see the absolute protagonists GSX-S1000GX , GSX-8R.

The two new bikes will give life to two traveling events, each of which includes a series of special evenings, which will take place at some Suzuki dealerships. Starting from November 20th, each strand of the Première Show will be divided into 27 stages around Italy, and will touch a total of eleven regions, including a large part of the national territory, ranging from Friuli-Venezia Giulia to Sicily. At each event, enthusiasts will be able to look at the bikes up close and sit on the saddle, while for the moment it will not be possible to take a road test.

La Suzuki GSX-S1000GX it is the new motorcycle that aims to offer maximum performance and versatility, combined with the best technology available today in the world of two-wheelers. Characterized by a sporty and elegant line, the GSX-S1000GX is equipped with a 152 HP inline four-cylinder engine, inserted in a double-spar aluminum frame.

On a chassis level, the GSX-S1000GX debuts the first electronic suspension ever used on a production Suzuki: the Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspensions (SAES) with Hitachi Astemo (Showa) SFF-CA fork and BFRC-lite rear shock absorber. Another highlight of the bike is the electronic management of the spring preload of the rear suspension.

The other big news from the Japanese company is the Suzuki GSX-8R, a new concept sports car that combines usability, performance and driving pleasure. Developed around the base of the GSX-8S, this bike has a profile leaning towards the front end and a brand new pair of forged aluminum handlebars. The GSX-8R has a steel tube frame and is equipped with a compact 776 cm3 parallel twin engine which develops 83 HP of power and 78 Nm of maximum torque, for an average consumption of 4,2 l/100 km (mixed cycle WMTC).

The engine is managed in an integrated manner with all the on-board electronics by the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System. Equipped with instruments with a 5-inch TFT LCD display, the Suzuki GSX-8R is also available in a detuned 35 kW (48 HP) version for A2 license holders.
