Il Suzuki Bike Day carried out on 10 July a Carpegna, in the province of Pesaro e Urbino, attracted various enthusiasts. The non-competitive cycling event, organized by Suzuki Italia and sponsored by the Italian Cycling Federation, involved 480 Guests engaged on a long circular route 16 km in the setting of the Apennines, between the Marche and Emilia Romagna.

A party for small and large enthusiasts of different ages. The participants and their companions also found a lively entertainment point in the Suzuki Village, present in Piazza dei Conti, and were also able to rent e-bike.
On this occasion, people met various personalities from the world of sport and entertainment. The Technical Director of the National Cycling Teams Davide Cassani was present, engaged in the opening of the event alongside Massimo Nalli, the President of Suzuki Italia. Also present were ambassadors of the brand such as the world figure skating champion Carolina Kostner; eight athletes from the Italian Short Track national team of the Italian Ice Sports Federation; the rally champion Renato Travaglia and the television presenter Marco Berry.

Il Suzuki Bike Day it was a way to combine sporting activity and solidarity. Suzuki donated the proceeds from the registrations to the Michele Scarponi Foundation, which finances projects to educate on correct road behaviour, together with the diffusion of a culture of safety and respect for the rules. Suzuki gave all members the opportunity to pay an increased share of a free offer, an invitation accepted by more than half of those present.
With the donations Suzuki raised 4.002 euros, donated to the Scarponi Foundation. Suzuki also thanked the participating sponsors who contributed to the realization of the event.

The climb to Mount Carpegna it was the most challenging point of the route, given a height difference of 740 m and maximum gradients of 15%. A trait made known by the legendary Marco Pantani, who often trained here. A monument is dedicated to the champion at the top of the pass at an altitude of 1.367 m above sea level. Thanks to a route closed to traffic, enthusiasts and athletes cycled freely with their loved ones, friends and the athletes who attended.
