Suzuki is among the brands present at the first edition of MIMO – Milan Monza Open-Air Motor Show 2021. On the occasion of the event scheduled from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 June, some examples of the Car, Motorcycle and Marine ranges will be visible, as well as the Suzuki Misano concept designed by the students of the Master in Transportation Design of IED Turin. Speaking of motorbikes, the new one is highlighted Suzuki GSX-S1000.

Participation in the event

Suzuki is present in three distinct spaces in the heart of Milan with representatives of the Auto, Motorcycle and Marine production. The largest structure is located in Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
In addition to the cars and the part linked to the marine sector, two-wheel enthusiasts will be able to admire the new naked Suzuki GSX-S1000. Together with her the MotoGP display bike Suzuki GSX-RR by Joan Mir and the specimen SWIFT Sport Hybrid World Champion Edition with a livery that recalls the world championship triumph in 2020.
Suzuki also takes part in the Premiere Parade, the institutional parade scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday 10th in Piazza del Duomo. Protagonist on the occasion was Marco Lucchinelli, World Champion of the 500 Class in 1981 on Suzuki, riding a GSX-S1000.

The motorcycle

A sculpted motorbike, whose distinctive design includes a front light cluster with overlapping LED-type hexagons, as well as taut and aerodynamic features considering the shrouds and 19-litre tank and a compact tail. Three associated colors: Blue which recalls the sportiness of the brand; an elegant one Gray Mat e Black. The examples offered on the Italian market have a single-seat cover and can be customized with various original accessories.
A motorcycle with a sporty character that promotes an upright, functional and comfortable posture. The handlebar is 23 mm wider with slightly raised ends and is 20 mm closer to the seat. This has been reshaped for greater support in the rear area.
It features an aluminum twin-spar frame with a direct connection of the steering head and swingarm pivot. The suspensions are adjustable in spring preload and hydraulic brakes, in compression and rebound. The calibration is designed considering the new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 radial tyres.
Among the technological solutions we mention the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS), a digital platform that deals with various electronic systems in an integrated way. Also highlighted is a new ride-by-wire electronic throttle in front of the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) through which to select the three proposed driving modes, which correspond to different engine responses. You can also adjust the new one Suzuki Traction Control System on five intervention levels or deactivate it, according to the information. The four-cylinder engine complies with the norm Euro 5 and the slipper clutch is assisted with the introduction of the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS), as mentioned.
