Piaggio: the brand is reportedly working on a type of agile four-wheel mobility

The proposal Piaggio could evolve further. Another way to facilitate the arrival of new enthusiasts in the world of scooters could be to add a fourth wheel, after introducing the three-wheel concept that already characterizes the Piaggio MP3.

The idea

Considering what has been reported in other newspapers, referring to one patent application, for now it is only possible to advance hypotheses on the existence or otherwise of a prototype equipped with handlebars, four wheels and interesting solutions from a technical point of view.
The project, on which Piaggio technicians are reportedly working, would be based on the same technical basis as the vehicle MyMoover, the scooter designed for city deliveries; preserving the entire rear area including the motorcycle engine from 125 cc and the transmission group. At the front, however, there would be an unprecedented front end patented by Piaggio and which would use a leverage system. It seems like a variation on the mechanism studied in the past by James Watt.
We are talking about a different and more compact concept than what was seen on the Piaggio MP3, which would allow for lateral inclination. For now an interesting idea, waiting for any information on possible developments.
