Piaggio MP3 Sport, sports setup for the 300cc and 400cc

Piaggio introduces a new set-up for its MP3 tricycle: the scooter, essentially, equipped with three tires (two in the front area and only one in the rear), a rarity in the panorama of city motorcycles. We will not, therefore, call it two wheels (that would be insulting): the Piaggio MP3 Sport takes up the baton of a rather placid and soft pencil, that of the versions marketed up to now, to make it aggressive and exciting. To the extent possible.

Piaggio MP3 Sport, in fact, combines a pure white livery, which gilds the entire bodywork, contrasted by a belligerent black, spread on the surface of the alloy tyres, on the background of the burnished light clusters, on the smoked front fairing, on the front grille. front air and on the double seat (with red stitching). This is essentially a way of paraphrasing the Sport setup of the Italian tricycle. That's all, simply.

In fact, the engines to which the latter will be coupled are already known and also available in other configurations. There are two choices: Piaggio MP3 300ie Sport and Piaggio MP3 400ie Sport, both with electronic fuel injection. The first engine, a single-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine, delivers 22,4 horsepower and 23,2 Nm of maximum torque (a handful more power than the previous 250 version). The second, similarly, is a four-stroke, four-valve with a single cylinder, liquid-cooled, capable of generating 34 horsepower and 37,6 Nm of maximum torque.
