New Ducati Desmosedici GP11

Il Ducati Corse Team, the motorcycle manufacturer from Borgo Panigale, the two official riders of the team and all those who, more or less, collaborated in its creation, this morning lifted the curtain and unveiled the new Ducati Desmosedici GP11, available in two different versions, the one for our local Valentino Rossi, the other for the American Nicki Hayden: it's ready to hit the championship curbs MotoGP of the new year.

Next to the two Team motorcycles, the boss Filippo Preziosi, which revealed some of the improvements that characterize the new generation of Desmosedici, compared to the previous version. Preziosi clarified that the changes are concentrated in the engine area: the new one Ducati Desmosedici GP11 it obtained an (unspoken) development that made the drive torque much more usable and less unmanageable. The aerodynamics improved by the Team Ducati Corse, on the other hand, will allow you to increase the maximum speed without risking the front tire lifting (note the new fairing and the open wounds in the side fairing, for example).

The frame of the new motorcycle by Borgo Panigale it has been configured in different versions (in carbon fiber), which will be able to satisfy the needs of each individual track. The setup of the new Ducati Desmosedici for Valentino Rossi and Nicki Hayden, however, it is not finished yet: a new front fork will be ready for Sepang.

As for the livery, the new Ducati Desmosedici GP11 does not betray its affection for the color red, now an international hallmark of the Borgo Panigale motorcycle manufacturer. Only some details are different between one version and the other: Valentino wanted to introduce touches of eccentric yellow. The logo of the sports sector is a little out of the way, but present AMG of the car manufacturer Mercedes: he is the new partner – as you will remember – of the Ducati Corse team.

All we have to do is see the renewed Team in action, with a new Italian standard bearer (the good Rossi).
