Ducati Desmosedici GP11, all the technical details

The new Ducati Desmosedici GP11 it was presented only a few hours ago by the Borgo Panigale motorcycle manufacturer and the team Ducati Corse: we gave you a taste, a first bite, yesterday. La new Ducati Desmosedici GP11 It is powered by a four-stroke petrol engine 799 cubic centimeters of displacement, four cylinders arranged in a 90° V, four valves per cylinder, liquid cooled, with desmodromic distribution (double overhead camshaft). There maximum power developed from the new GP11 exceeds two hundred horsepower, which allows it to reach and exceed three hundred and ten kilometers per hour of maximum speed.

The technicians of Ducati Corse team and the motorcycle manufacturer Ducati tout court they created a carbon fiber frame for the new Desmosedici, enriched by a fork Öhlins 48 mm front, with upside-down system, and a rear mono-shock, also Öhlins, with configurable preload. Furthermore, the new Ducati Desmosedici GP11 is equipped with a six-speed extractable gearbox, dry multi-plate clutch, chain transmission, exhaust system termignoni, electronic injection Magneti Marelli (live).

The equipment is completed by the brakes developed by Brembo: the system is composed of two 320 mm carbon discs, with four-piston calipers, for the front tire and a single steel disc, with two-piston caliper, for the rear tire. The new Desmosedici GP11 wears tyres Bridgestone 16 and a half inches long and weighs, dry, about one hundred and fifty kilograms.
