Multistrada 1200 S and Multistrada 1200 Enduro destined for the Carabinieri Radiomobile Units

Le Ducati Multistrada 1200 S and Multistrada 1200 Enduro officially enter the fleet of vehicles available to theArms of the Carabinieri. The motorcycles from the Borgo Panigale company strengthen the vehicle fleet of the emergency response and territorial control service of the Radiomobile Units of the main Italian cities, starting with Rome and Milan. The debut will take place with an event of particular importance and resonance, given that they will already be used by the Carabinieri in service during the next G7, scheduled in Taormina on 26 and 27 May 2017.

The motorcycles were presented in Rome on 22 May, with an official event held in the park inside the headquarters of the General Command of the Army, which was attended by the Ducati CEO, Claudio Domenicali, the Commander General of the Army Corps, Tullio Del Sette, and the leaders of the Carabinieri General Staff. The Multistrada 1200 S and Multistrada 1200 Enduro were created for the Army with the colors and logos of the institutional livery, as well as boasting the specific set-up foreseen for this use and designed by Focaccia Group Automotive. The standard motorcycles have been integrated with special sound and light devices, equipped with a DC vehicle radio and prepared for housing the department's armament.
