Moto Guzzi V7 II and Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally are presented in Cologne

Aprilia and Moto Guzzi will present themselves at the Intermot in Cologne, scheduled for 1 to 5 October, as true protagonists. The motorcycle brands of the Piaggio Group will preview two new models, theAprilia Caponord 1200 Rally , Moto Guzzi V7 II, of which the official images have been released.

The new Moto Guzzi V7 II will be offered to the public in three different versions, Stone, characterized by color shades typical of the 70s, Racer, graphically inspired by the famous V750 S3 of 1975, and Racer, with a sporty soul, low handlebars, tank chromed with leather fastening strap. The new Moto Guzzi model is characterized by the new six-speed gearbox with spacing that has allowed the first and last two ratios to be closer together, reducing the drop in rpm between one gear and another, which together with the improvements obtained from the clutch they allow a softer command and a more homogeneous release.

La new Moto guzzi V7 II introduces, in terms of safety, ABS and Moto Guzzi traction control, a sophisticated electronic system that ensures ideal traction in all conditions, preventing the rear wheel from slipping during acceleration and therefore loss of grip. However, the new model from the Mandello company also evolves aesthetically. The new position of the engine compared to the past has improved the side view of the motorbike and will allow the driver's knees to have more space, furthermore the new footrests lowered by 25 mm allow to accommodate even riders who are a little "above" the average as stature.

La new Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally it adapts to any journey and any terrain thanks to the new patented dynamic suspension system, which aims to guarantee effectiveness and reliability. Among the new features are the spoked wheels with a 19" front, the new rigid bags with aluminum covers, the 24 liter tank, the new larger windscreen, the new engine protections and the additional LED headlights. The typical Aprilia cycling qualities and the excellent performance of the 1200cc V-twin are now combined with technological contents such as ride-by-wire with triple mapping, traction control, cruise control and deactivable ABS.

The new Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally introduces the new Caponord 1200 Rally ADD system which allows maximum performance to be achieved throughout the entire frequency range of the fork and shock absorber thanks to which the rider does not have to do anything other than ride, given that the system measures the The energy transmitted to the vehicle by the roughness of the asphalt recognizes the driving phases, adapting the suspension calibration in real time, for better comfort and an improvement in the set-up. The new Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally will be marketed on European markets starting from January 2015, while the Moto Guzzi V7 II will go on sale in November.
