MIVV: presented the X-M5 exhaust for the new Ducati Monster

The new Ducati Monster it is distinguishable in particular by the absence of the traditional trellis frame. MIVV introduces an exhaust for the specimen X-M5.

The solution

The terminal is a new result linked to the experience gained by MIVV in the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 Championships and represents a synthesis between sporting vision and performance. The exhaust X-M5 it features a 3K twill carbon pad and a removable protective grille that hides the dB-killer.
MIVV creates this terminal in two variants: Titanium e Black. The first with a central body in Slow grade 1 titanium with a "pearlled" effect, defined through a finishing process. The Black model has a central body in black 304 stainless steel with a “Black Moon” effect, a finish that derives from yet another special ceramic-based painting process.

The terminal has a conical shape with compact dimensions and with it you get a punchy sound. A video on the official MIVV website allows you to hear the tones produced by the standard Ducati exhaust and those of a model equipped with the X-M5 muffler.
The solution for the new Monster is linked to the same evolution of the model, which is animated by a Testastretta 11° twin cylinder da 937 cc, approved Euro 5. A heart also protagonist with the MIVV terminal.

From a technical point of view, the double exit on the right side of the standard system is replaced by a "2 in 1" system composed of the MIVV X-M5 terminal. A slip-on type terminal with a standard position outlet. The equipment includes a connection pipe with the original silencer and also a carbon cover to protect the foot.
In line with the new Euro 5 regulation, there is an increase of 5,30 horsepower in maximum power and an increase of 0,50 Nm in maximum torque (values ​​measured at the wheel on a roller bench). The scale also highlights a weight loss of 1,40 kg.

Proposal

The retail price indicated for the unloading MIVV X-M5 in version Titanium o Black it turns out to be 477,00 euros. Speaking of options, we point out a KAT eliminater at 263,00 euros. A component made of stainless steel tubes that offers a performance improvement. Made for MIVV slip ons, it can also be combined with the standard silencers. Elimina KAT is defined for use on the track and is not approved according to current regulations for road use of the motorcycle, as specified.
