Harley Davidson: the Battle of the Kings arrives at EICMA 2015
The Pavia customizers won
Harley Davidson – After an exciting five-month long challenge, the “Battle of the Kings” (here is our video interview), which saw the official Harley-Davidson dealerships compete with customizations on the Street 750 of the Milwaukee brand, has its winner.
The “Custom King”, the winner of the first edition of the “Battle of Kings”, is the team of the official Harley-Davidson Pavia dealership which Street 750 gave to the base a retro off-road profile. Jonich Wheels spoked rims with semi-knobby tyres, RedThunder exhaust and twin-tube shock absorbers without forgetting the customization of the tank, red with silver knee pads, which recalls some Regularity and Cross bikes of the Seventies. A transformation rewarded online by Harley riders but also by customization enthusiasts.
On the second step of the podium the Bologna team who for the transformation of the Street 750 found inspiration in the first motorbike of one of its customizers, that is a cross motorbike he had when he was 5 years old, which here mounts high and knobby wheels to be able to tackle any terrain, even off road, transforming itself into a modern scrambler to tackle the urban jungle. Finally, the Harley-Davidson dealership from Ravenna was awarded third place in the "Battle of the Kings" ranking, who chose to maintain the matte black of the Street 750, focusing on the front end, enriched by a 19'' wheel from an Iron 883, and the rear end, lowered with dedicated shock absorbers and with a vintage-style mudguard. Stripped of the fairing, the headlight of the Street 750 remains the original one, while behind the lights they are set in the frame.
The winners of the “Battle of Kings” and all the news on the Dark Custom road await enthusiasts at EICMA 2015.
