EICMA 2018 | Benelli Leoncino 250 and TRK 250 pave the way for their smaller 'sisters' [PHOTO]

By the end of next year the Pesaro company will also launch the two models in the 125 version

EICMA 2018 Benelli – Presented in the last edition of EICMA, the Leoncino 250 and the TRK 250 by Benelli, also return in the 2018 edition of the Milan show.

The two models share the same engine, a single-cylinder with a power of 24.5 HP at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 21 Nm at 7500 rpm.

Leoncino 250 is characterized by a steel tube frame. At the front it relies on an up-side-down fork with legs with a diameter of 41 millimetres, while at the rear there is an oscillating swingarm with a central monoshock absorber and 51 millimeters of travel. The braking system is instead composed of a single floating disc of 280 mm in diameter at the front with a four-piston caliper, while at the rear of a 240 mm diameter disc and a single-piston floating caliper. The headlight unit has also been revised and renewed.

On the TRK 250 the suspension department is entrusted at the front to an upside-down fork with 41mm diameter legs and at the rear to a swingarm with central shock absorber, with 51mm travel. While the braking system is made up of a single floating disc of 280mm diameter with 4-piston caliper at the front and 240mm with a single-piston caliper at the rear, capable of guaranteeing maximum safety on the road.

From next year both the Leoncino 250 and the TRK 250 will be joined by two smaller 'sisters', in the 125 cc version, available by the end of next year.
