Benelli TRK 702 and 702X, double news arriving: in dealerships at the end of July [PHOTO]

Benelli is preparing to launch on the market two new motorbikes: TRK702 e TRK 702X. Both almost ready to arrive at dealerships in the next few weeks, the two Benelli bikes follow the recipe of their younger sister, the TRK 502, split into two variants, one with a more road setting and one more enduro for those who love adventure.

690 cc twin-cylinder engine with 70 HP

Driving the Benelli TRK 702 and 702X is a 690 cc liquid-cooled four-stroke twin-cylinder engine for 70 CV of power at 8.000 rpm e 70 Nm of torque at 6.000 rpm. The engine is combined with a 6-speed extractable gearbox and a multi-plate wet clutch with anti-slipper. Against emissions of 107 g/km of CO2, Benelli declares consumption of 4,6 l/100 km. 

First-rate chassis

The frame with trellis structure with steel plates is flanked by the aluminum swingarm with central monoshock adjustable in preload and hydraulics and the upside-down fork with 50 mm and 140 mm of travel. As for the brakes, we find a braking system with double 320 mm disc at the front with four-piston caliper and 260 mm disc and single-piston caliper at the rear.

On both bikes the tank is 20 litres with Curb weight equal to 235 kg. To complete the equipment of the Benelli TRK 702 and 702X there are the Full LED headlight unit and the 5 inch color TFT display with Bluetooth connection that allows you to connect your smartphone, also allowing navigation thanks to the mirroring function enabled by a special free app. 

The differences between the two variants

La TRK702 It features 17-inch alloy wheels, Pirelli Angel GT 120/70 and 160/60 tyres, and solutions that focus more on comfort and versatility. The seat height to be held is 795 mm. As for aesthetics, the more road version offers three different liveries: Anthracite Grey, Pearl Whit and in a limited series Forest Green. 

On the TRK 702X the more adventurous spirit is underlined by the 19-inch front wheel, spoked rims, Pirelli STR 110/80 and 150/70 tires and the greenhouse height from the ground of 835 mm. In addition to the Anthracite Gray and Forest Green colors, the Moon Gray color is also available. 

The price is €7.490

In dealerships since the end of July, the new Benelli TRK 702 and 702X both have a price of 7.490 € ex dealer. Until the end of the year, Benelli will offer a trio of aluminum suitcases included in the price, including a 46-litre top case, side cases and subframes.
